I consist of brick stone and would consider myself to be rather large. I have many relatives in Hamburg, Amsterdam, London and New York but in Vienna many would say I’m extraordinary and for this very reason the Monuments Office in Vienna takes excellent care of me, ensuring that my aesthetic and my charm is never compromised.

My brick walls will inspire your lifestyle, whether it is while you’re sleeping, cooking, or studying. The visible bricks and the building splices not only tell you a part of my own story, but also that of Viennese culture and thus, living here means living in a piece of local history.

 I am split into ten separate buildings: this means that you will never live in a building of more than 20 other students and will only ever have to share your floor with three neighbours. Intimacy and familiarity are two things I deeply treasure; nonetheless, I’m only a couple of stops away from the bustling city life. I take great pride in my prime location: you can reach me just about from all corners of the city, while being able to get anywhere you wish right from my doorstep. My address is a transportation hub: Südbahn, Westbahn, S-bahn, the Airport Bus, U6, Lokalbahn nach Baden, and numerous buses and Trams, are only a couple of meters away from me. Click on “My City Location,” to find out exactly where I am. You’ll be in the city center in less than 20 minutes by bike, your daily necessities are all available at the Meidlinger Hauptstraße and in case you want to do some serious shopping, you can always just hop on the subway and be at theMariahilfer Strasse in only four stops.

I'm currently being revamped, from head to toe, allowing me to emerge completely modern, chic; my new interior design handpicked specifically to suit my unique style. I have to admit, all the drilling, hammering and painting is exhausting, but I'm willing to endure all of it for you, so that I'll look my very best on October 1st, the day where I will officially open my doors to welcome you to your brand new home.

Here at City Life Apartments, I promise you the lifestyle you’re accustomed to. I’m not offering you a tiny room, where you have to cram everything you own into a back corner, but rather a real apartment, with everything you can think of: a foyer, a spacious bathroom, a living room, a big American kitchen and a separate bedroom. While for those of you who don’t want to live on their own, there is the option to rent an apartment big enough to allow you to experience what it’s like to have flat mates.

 Each floor will have its own washer and dryer, meaning that you will only ever have to share them with the three neighbours on your floor. You can leave your bike by the entrance, right next to your mailbox and high speed Internet (16 Mit per student) in your apartments and in all common rooms will make studying and procrastinating all the easier.  

There is no need to stress about any of the baggage that comes with moving houses. I made sure that there is enough storage in your cupboards as well as space in the basement, so that you can store any cardboard boxes or anything else that comes with the hassle of building yourself a new home.

 

You can enjoy the spring season and the Indian summer out in my big garden, which will allow you to take some time to relax, especially during the intense exam period. Moreover, my location will allow you to party with your friends, without any neighbours being on your toes or causing you any trouble. 

 

You can meet up with any of your colleagues or friends in any of the common rooms, whether it is at the gym; in the lounge; in the underground area, where you can play table tennis, DART, as well as other games; in the entrance hall; or in the garden. My personal favourite meeting spot is the exclusive food truck.

Oh, and in case you’re a musician, then there is no need to worry about practicing on your instrument. The apartment is big enough to allow you enough freedom to rehearse, and just in case it does get too late, then there is always the band room to practice in.
